GV II

Public house. Probably C18, possibly with earlier origins. Front remodelled in mid
to late C19. Rendered probably stone rubble ground floor. Probably slate hung soft
wood timber frame above. Slate roof with gable ends.
Plan: Especially deep plan now forming one large bar. C19 extensions to rear.
Exterior: 3-storeys. Regular 1:3 window front with probably late C19 sashes. The
glazing bars removed from the lower lights. Entrance to left of centre with possibly
C19 panelled door. C19 canted bay windows to right and left with sash beyond on
right. First and second floors with double sashes to right and 3 sashes to left.
Band of decorative fish scale slates between first and second floor.
Interior: Ground floor partitions removed. Some heavy C18 joists remaining.
