SO 61 SE RUSPIDGE LOWER SOUDLEY

6/123 Zion Chapel

II

Small chapel. Dated 1846. Coursed rubblestone, hipped slate roof.
2 small round headed windows with stone voussoirs and interlaced
tracery, with stone tablet inscribed "ZION CHAPEL/1846" between,
above central original panelled door up 5 stone steps. Two long
windows to side walls, also with round heads and interlaced
tracery. Single storey brick extension to rear with 2 round
windows on south side.
Interior not inspected but partially visible through keyhole -
apparently original pews and raised east end dais with rail and
table.
