GV II

Estate office, now outbuilding. Mid-C19. Coursed sandstone rubble with
sandstone dressings and Welsh slate roof. Rectangular symmetrical plan
facing south-south-east. One storey. South elevation has one glazing-
bar sash under slightly cambered head to either side of advanced central
gable with one small light over entry, gable has wavy bargeboards and pen-
dant at apex, all three window cills are supported on a pair of brackets.
The outbuilding is said to have been the earliest purpose-built estate
office of the Guy's Hospital Estate in Herefordshire. This building occupies
a prominent elevated position beside Benhall (qv) and is included for group
value.
