1/20 Monks Elder Cottage

Cottage. C17, altered and extended C20. Mud and stud,
whitewashed rendered walls, pantile roof with single brick ridge
stack. Lobby entry plan. Single storey plus attics, 4 bay front
having off-centre planked door covered by C20 gable porch with to
left single and to right 2 C20 glazing bar windows. In the roof
3 raking dormers with glazing bar lights and weatherboarded
cheeks. Interior retains jowled posts, straight braces,
chamfered beams with run out stops.
