Detached house. C17. Coursed and squared lias and Cary stone, some in alternating thick and thin courses, slate roof,
coped verges, ashlar stacks with moulded caps, that to centre restored with concrete block, Cross-passage plan. Two
storeys and attic, 2:2 bays, 2 and 3-light stone-mullioned windows, 2 on ground floor with a central king-mullion,
stopped labels, lights with iron casements, some with square-paned leaded lights. Door opening to third bay from left,
studded plank door with good iron strap fringes. Wing in conforming style at right-angles to rear, ashlar stack with
pepper-pot cap. Interior with good C17 features including fireplaces in moulded freestone surrounds; 2 ornamental
plaster cornices; ornamental plaster frieze; overmantle dated 1624; C17 roof. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO, January
