Hotel. Early to mid C19, altered. Red brick in Flemish bond,
with some sandstone dressings, slate roof. Double-depth
double-fronted plan, with rear wing. Three storeys and three bays;
central round-headed doorway with set-in doorcase of Tuscan
columns and dentilled cornice, plain fanlight; "corner-shop"
shop-front to right-hand corner, with splayed doorway flanked
by one window in each side, all in pilastered surround with
right-angled frieze and dentilled cornice; windows with raised
sills and flat-arched heads of gauged brick, that to left of
door with altered glazing but 4-pane sashes to the upper
floors. Four-window right-hand return wall with round-headed
doorway and altered windows at ground floor and 4-pane sashes
above. Interior altered.
