Barn about 15 metres west of Sock Dennis Farmhouse

Barn. Probably C18. Ham stone cut and squared, ashlar dressings, with large slabs local lias stone; corrugated iron
sheet roof replacing thatch. Single-storey, 7 bays, of early type king post with brace trussed roof. On north side bay
1 has C18 style door and 3-light plain casement window, both under flat voussoired arches; bays 3, 4, 5 and 6 have,
between rendered brick raking buttresses, side walls with narrow centre doors, each unit of wall a single lias stone
slab; internal partitions also in stone slabs: the coped east gable has another early door and gable window.
