north-west of Stapleton Croft,
and front boundary railings

House. Early C19. Ham stone near-ashlar facade, coursed rubble to sides and rear; Welsh slate roof between stepped
coped gables, brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 2 bays. Horizontal bar casement windows of 3-lights, central light
wider; 6-panel door to lower bay 2, all in plain openings. Laxer extension with catslide clay pantiled roof, brick
chimney stack. Interior not seen. Extending from north-west corner across front of house to meet those of house
adjoining low stone wall with twisted arrowhead railings, matching gate opposite door, contributing to setting of
house and to streetscene. Included primarily for group value on important corner position.
