Three, possibly late C16 shops or granaries, originally timber-
framed and jettied to the Street (No. 5 jetty boxed). Rear wing
to No. 3 late C17 and contemporary with south gable brick wall
with lamp niche that must have replaced one bay of the original
building. Rendered walls. Steeply pitched slate and pantile
C17 side purlin roofs. One ridge stack to left of centre. Two
storeys with attics. Two side passage ways and three shop
entrances with modern shop windows. Two first floor hung sash
windows to No. 5, and three, four-light transomed casement
windows to Nos. 3 and 4. No. 3 is subdivided into four flats
(A, B, C and D). One small attic window. These
buildings are included specifically for their historic interest.
