Coach house and stable block. Late C18. Red brick; slate roofs; brick
end stack. The buildings are ranged around 3 sides of a courtyard, the
fourth (west) side is enclosed by a wall with a central carriage entrance
flanked by square gate piers. North range. Stable. One storey and hay-
loft. 3 bays; the 2 outer windows are cast-iron casements with Gothick
glazing bars; central segmental arch giving access to a recess with boarded
door to the loft and cast-iron glazing bar casement to the right. Central
gable with a boarded loft door. East range. In 2 parts. Recessed coach
house and stable to the left. One storey; segmental carriage arch to the
right, 2 boarded doors and a window with boarded shutters to the left, all
with segmental heads. Right hand coach house of one storey and 2 bays; keyed
segmental carriage arches. South range. To the left a single-storey
stable with segmental-headed boarded door and cast-iron casement with Gothick
glazing bars and semi-circular head; outhouse to the right.
