Set back from a bend in the road. Dated 1679. Brick and roughcast 2 storey house,
considerable altered. Central porch wing with gable and bargeboards. Porch has
carved spandrels, old door, seats etc. New wings added at front and side of house.
Mostly pantile roofs, old tiles to right. Casement windows of assorted types.
Interior has ceilinzs to ground and lst floors with Tudor roses and other isolated
ornaments. lst floor room has rich plaster overmantel with Jacobean ornament and
initials PLM and date 1679.
