Built 1837 with 1870 exteriors. Red brick, slate roof. The original school
consisted of a 2 storey Master's house with decorative barge boards to the gabled
front and one storey schoolroom, the original doorways and windows with pointed
heads end interlacing glazing bars one storey. additions on the church Mill Front
have matching barge boards. The extension on the south side has a range of 5 Pairs
of windows with pointed heads, and slate roof half-hipped at the ends.
