flanking walls adjoining
east of Priory Cottages

GV II

Gateway arch and flanking walls.Probably C18. Local limestone and other stone
rubble. Roughly dressed rubble cambered arch on imposts with recessed
rectangular panel in parapet above. Square piers have chamfered weathering to
plinths. Including flanking lower walls with plain coping.

This gateway and walls were formerly in the garden of Priory House qv, before
its curtilage was divided.
