3/83 Upper Hook Cottage

Cottage. Early C19. Local stone roughly squared and coursed; Welsh slate roof with plain gables; brick end chimney
stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Outer bays have 16-pane sash windows in voussoired slightly segmental arched openings;
centre upper bay has 12-pane sash to match, and under is a 6-panel door with small bracketted timber hood with pitched
metal covered roof. Interior not seen, but said to be little altered - makes good pair with Lower Hook Cottage
adjoining to East gable (qv).
