Lychgate to Church of
St Peter
GV II

Lychgate. c1920. Coursed squared sandstone and sawn timber, with plain tile
hipped roof, advanced to north and south. Chamfered stone base supporting a timber
superstructure of massive square timbers closely set. Gates to north side with
plank uprights diagonally braced with curved top. Good wrought iron work.
