Watermill. C18. Ham stone coursed rubble, some ashlar dressings; plain clay tiled roof with coped west gable having
gabletted finial. Two stories with attic. At east end, north side, the full height opening for the waterwheel, about 4
metres diameter, in cast iron with elm buckets, apparently undershot: 3 bays to right, with 2-light small-pane casement
windows to upper bay 1 and lower bay 2, and blocked doorways lower bays 1 and 3. On west gable wall are plain doors at
ground and first floor level, the lower of older pattern, the upper with a fanlight over, and to the attic a
single-light chamfered window in chamfered recess, with leaded window, under which is a stone plaque incised 8/TD/1782.
C20 garage building against south-east corner. Interior not seen, but reputedly some machinery remains inside.
