Dated 1689. Good traditional stone house with stone roof. 3 storeys. 2 wide
gables to front with finials. 2-storeyed gabled porch the arched entrance
with shields in spandrels bearing initials IW. 5-light mullioned and transomed
windows each side, altered to ground storey. Similar return gables and 2-storeyed
back range with 7-light window to East and 2 gables to rendered rear. Main
(West) ground floor room has moulded cross beams to deiling and elaborately
carved panelling to high chimney arch not all of it original.
