Lodge to Broadleas (q.v.), c1850-60, rubble stone with ashlar
dressings and steep stone slate roof with coped gables and
octagonal Tudor-style north end stack. l½ storeys, picturesque
Gothic style. South gable end, to drive, has apex trefoil with
W.M. monogram and ground floor canted stone-slated bay window with
three stone cross-windows. East side, to road, has projecting
steep-roofed porch to left, with pointed-arched doorway and carved
heads to hoodmould. To right one ground floor single light and
first floor 2-light under coped gable. A slightly lower north end
section has ground floor 2-light and single light above under coped
gable.
