GV II

House, now a department of Sheffield Hallam University. Mid
C19 with late C19 additions, and late C20 alterations. Coursed
squared stone with ashlar front and dressings, and hipped
slate roof with 2 brick side wall stacks. Plinth, first floor
sillband, corner pilasters, renewed wooden eaves. 2 storeys; 5
window range of plain sashes. Projecting centre under pediment
with single window with cornice on brackets. Restored
pedimented Ionic portico with glazed door and overlight. On
each side, a late C19 canted stone bay window with panelled
parapet and 3 plain sashes. Blank returns.
