Barn. Probably C17, extended west end late C18- early C19. Random rubble local stone, corrugated, sheeting roof
half-hipped at west end. Plan; 5 and a half bay barn set west gable end onto road, north side facing foldyard. West
end; 2 pointed arch openings, lower one with reaains of decorative cast iron grilles various openings north front; east
end open timber framing on stone plinth; south side pointed arch doorway. lnterior: 5 pairs of raised jointed cruck
trusses, double jurlins, no wind braces, Alterations were made late C18 - early C19 to embellish the elevations nearest
Whitehall Farmhouse (q.v.).
