Detached farmhouse. C17 probably, modified. Local lies stone roughly cut and squared; double Roman clay tile roof
between stepped coped gables; stone end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. Chamfer mullioned timber windows with
rectangular leaded lights; with some later horizontal bar opening lights, all 3-light: to lower bay 2 a C20 open stone
and tiled roof porch protecting boarded door in heavy ovolo mould frame. Small oven-type extension to north gable under
hipped tiled roof. Interior not seen, but reported are plank and muntin screen, spiral staircase, chamfered beams; tie
beam trusses with high collar. (VAG report, unpublished SRO, 1975).
