Semi-detched cottage. Possibly C17. Local lias stone roughly cut and squared; double Roman clay tile roof between
coped gables; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, single gabled bay with door to right. Gable has unidentified carved
finial, ard projects nearly a metre: at both levels are 20-pane sash windows, the lower with voussoired flat arch, the
upper under timber lintol: 6-panel door in plain opening without hood. In north gable three blocked windows: a rear
extension, eastwards, of several dates. Interior not seen. Attached on south side to Gatehouse (qv).
