Farmhouse, now house. Late C18 or early C19. Chequered red and grey brick
with slate roof. Double depth. 3 storeys and cellar on brick plinth.
Narrow painted stone plat bands between storeys and to eaves. Hipped roof.
Projecting brick stacks towards front and rear of each gable end.
Regular 3-window front of recessed 12-pane sashes to each upper floor and
two 15-pane sashes to ground floor, all with splayed rubbed brick
voussoirs and formerly with shutters. Central half-glazed and panelled
door in Panelled recess up 6 steps. C20 porch replacing reeded architrave
and projecting cornice. Single storey additions to rear to left, formerly
outhouse and dairy. Interior: only partly inspected. Reeded architrave to
stairwell arch.
