GV II

Boundary/retaining wall, with end, intermediate and gate piers; c.1846.
Dressed, uncoursed limestone, and cast iron. Rounded copings surmounted by
cast iron railings at east end of north wall, but railings are missing from
west end and west wall. Piers have deep plinths and shallow pyramidal caps.
Flight of 6 steps between gatepiers of west wall, leading to docks, has side
walls and short end piers. Included for group value.
