Mid C18. 3 storeys painted stucco on projecting plinth. lst floor string
course. Rusticated piers flanking ground floor and supporting pilasters to
upper part. Projecting central bay. Elaborate moulded eaves cornice broken
forward over pilasters and central bay. 5 windows to upper floors, sashes,
glazing bars intact, block sills. The central lst floor window has a surround
of Doric pilasters, entablature and pediment. 3 windows to ground floor,
one modern to left. Central recessed door of 6 fielded panels, with semi-circular
radiating fanlight. Doric porch of columns to front and pilasters to wall
and entablature with triglyph frieze. Recessed double 6 panel door to left
(part of shop) with semi-circular radiating fanlight.

Nos 23 to 41 (consec) and the part of the National Westminster Old Bank to
Market Place form a very fine group.
