Detached house. Mid late C18. Brick walls in Flemish bond on a
rubblestone base. Rendered parapet and flat coping stones. Slate
roof steeply pitched with parallel ridges. Rendered stacks at
gable ends, 2½ storeys. 4 windows, C19 sashes, stone cills and C18
gauged and rubbed brick arches. Two attic windows, 2 light casements
with glazing bars, slated cheeks and segmental head. Front
door, right of centre, mid C19, 4 fielded and ribbed panels with 2
top lights inserted. Semi circular fanlight with glazing bars. Iron
trelliswork porch with flared metal canopy, C19. East gable wall
is fully sashed. Rear range, C19, rubblestone and rendered
brickwork with slate roof. 2 storeys. 2 windows, casements to ground
floor, sashes above. Plank door. Interior: has been much altered
and converted C20. Rear wing has an altered open fireplace with
brick bread oven in right jamb. Wood lintel, straight chamfered, C17
