north of Lower Nicholson Farmhouse

Cattle-shelter. Circa mid C19. Coursed stone rubble. Welsh slate roof with gabled ends and hipped corner. L-plan cattle-shelter of3+3 bays, open-fronted facing the yard, with square wooden posts supporting long wooden corbels under the wall-plate. The open-fronted bays have later temporary cladding. INTERIOR: Tie-beam trusses with king-posts and struts. Wooden mangers on back wall.
