Sited in front of The Old House and at right angles to it. Lime-washed
roughcast over stone rubble on front facade, with gable end facing the
road. Centre modern door, 2 16-paned sash windows on each floor, and a
12-paned sash in centre above door. Left hand side wall is of plain stone
rubble, with a rear garage adjoining The Old House.
The Golden Rule Hotel. The Old House, North View and Nos 1 to 3 (consec)
form a group with North Syke, North Road Nos 1 to 3 (consec), Kirkstone
Foot Cottages, Cottage adjoining and Springwell Cottage, Tom Fold and The
Haven, The Green.
