Originally Rye Public Assistance Institution. Mid C 19 Tudor Gothic. Two
storeys. Nineteen windows. Stuccoed. Asbestos cement tiled roof. Red
brick chimney stacks. Casement windows. Central projection with gable over.
Each side portion has another but smaller central projection with gable over.
These are flanked by gablets as dormer windows.
