Late C18 to early C19. 3 storeys and attic. Mansard slate roof. 2 dormers.
3 window bays. Cornice and parapet; plain stringcourse. Rendered front. Sash
windows. Modern shop windows on ground floor. Carriageway through at right
hand end; in the latter, a 6 fielded panelled door with fine knocker. To right
hand, beyond carriageway and in return to No 55, a 6-panelled door with semi-
circular fanlight. No 57 comprises part of the rear range to No 55; mansard
roof; sash windows with glazing bars; 6-panelled door with 2 fielded panels and
angel-head knocker. Early C19 segmental arch in carriageway, reeded, corbel
blocks with roundels.

Nos 45 to 65 (consec) form a group.
