2 cottages. Late C17/early C18. Painted render over
rubblestone, slate and artificals slate roofs with stack to
right gable end, which is also the external stack of No.1
(qv), 2 brick stacks to the party wall, one on the ridge and
one on the front slope. No.2 is 2-unit plan with central
passage, No.3 is one-unit plan.
2 storeys; No.2 is 2-window range with C19 three- and 4-light
casement windows breaking through the eaves line and a 4-light
casement to the the ground-floor right; all have 3 panes to
each leaf. The right-of-centre door is planked, now grained,
under a C18 hood on moulded consoles. To the left is a small
C20 rectangular bay with a 2-light casement window and a
pitched slate roof. C18 coved plaster cornice beneath eaves.
No.3 is one-window range with C20 door and windows.
INTERIOR: No.2 has planked doors and a cross-beam to the
ground-floor right.
