GV II Duxbury Hall)


Gate lodge, early C19. Ashlar, slate roof with chimney on rear
gable. Greek Revival. T-plan. Single storey: to drive, a
projecting temple front containing Greek Doric columns distyle
in antis; pilastered corners; plain frieze and cornice carries
round building. Shouldered architraves to openings. Arms of
Standish carved in tympanum.
