Cottage. Late C17 with small dairy or pantry extensions at north and south ends. Timber framed, rendered and long straw thatch, half hipped roof. Red brick ridge stack. Two bay and lobby entry plan, extended. One storey and attic. Two casements on either side of doorway to lobby. One of the casements has C18 shafted mullion. Late C20 wing at the rear.

Interior: abutting red brick inglenooks, one with later bread oven partially projecting from the west wall. Ceiling of parallel main beams. Exposed wall frame with downward bracing, plain heads to main posts and tie beam of central truss tied to chimney brickwork. Stop-chamfered lintel to inglenook.
