Late C17 or early C18 mansion.
Central block: Three storeys, 5 windows wide. Brown brick with red dressings. Brick
main cornice with smaller cornices between storeys. Brick Doric pilasters with
entablature at either end of the front. Central windows break forward slightly and
are set in a framing of red bricks. Corinthian pilastered doorcase with carved frieze.
To right and left later wings.
To right: Mid C18, 2 storeys, 2 window wide.
To left: C18, 3 storeys with a C19 ground floor projection and a further 2 storey,
3 windows wide wing beyond.
To the extreme left, the part of the outbuildings used as a garage, projects towards
the road.
Wrought iron gates and railings and walls to front.
Interior - good staircase.
