House, now commercial premises. Mid C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Squared
coursed lias and cob with corrugated metal roof. Originally probabaly 2-unit
plan with 2 bays of stables to far right. 2 storeys. Elevation to yard of
3-window range with one C19 casement to left under wood lintel and 2 hayloft
doors to right under wood lintels. 2 similar casements at ground floor with
central C20 double doors. Part-glazed door to far right under wood lintel. One
bay to far left breaks forward under a catslide roof. Ashlar gable parapets and
brick stack at ridge. Illegible tablet with moulded cornice over, above central
doors. Left gable to road is similar with C20 door and casements under wood
lintel. The rear wall is part rendered cob. Interior not inspected but room to
left noted as having open fireplace with bressumer, chamfered ceiling beam and
wall panelling.
