Public house. Late C18 or early C19. Painted incised stucco walls, with
V-jointed quoins, under partly hipped graduated greenslate roof with banded
stucco chimney stacks , one rebuilt in C20 brick. 2 storeys, 3 bays with lower
right right-angled extension. Panelled door in painted stone surround under
pediment. Sash windows with glazing bars in painted stone surrounds. Extension
has similar windows, three in right return wall small, and one double sash
window. Left return wall has panel inscribed with the hotel name.
