04/03/76 Walls enclosing the churchyard of
the Church of St Michael and All
Angels

GV II

Walls, C18-19, probably including earlier work, altered and
restored C20. Brick and unknapped flint, renewed with cement.
Plan: enclosing the churchyard and forming the north-east
boundary wall to the Old Rectory (qv), entrance via the
lych-gate onto Meeching Rise. (The lych-gate was erected in
1952 and is not of special interest.) Embankment wall to
Church Hill and Meeching Rise with brick coping, other walls
irregular in height with some cement coping, partially
obscured by ivy at time of survey.
