Two houses. C17 and C19. Coursed limestone rubble with steep-pitched pantile roof, continuous at front with Nos 58 and 60 (qv); stepped stone coping with moulded kneeler to right gable end (west), and brick stack to left. Main C17 block is single-depth, with No 54 contained in C19 wing to rear. 2 storeys. Street front is one-window range with entrance to Nos 52, 54, 58 & 60 through double doors to the left (east). First floor has C20 four-light casement window; C17 ground-floor 4-light window with fixed panes under a label mould. No 54 to rear is a C19 block with C20 door and windows. INTERIOR not inspected.
