west of Rufford
Abbey

Garden urn. Mid C18. Removed probably from parapet of Rufford
Abbey. Ashlar with rendered brick plinth. Chamfered square
plinth carrying urn with stepped square base and ringed octagonal
stem. Vase-shaped octagonal body. Above, 4 scallops forming
crest. Flanked by single mermaid supporters.
