SP 13 NE 1/131 BLOCKLEY NORTHWICK PARK

Late C17, possibly by Talman. Ashlar with rusticated quoins and hipped slate roof
behind parapet. Single storey over basement. Three bays on either side of projecting
central bay with pediment bearing relief of urn in tympanum. Tall (replacement) sash
windows with bolection achitraves, central door in similar frame and double flight of
steps. Acanthus-leaved coved cornice. Tall ashlar stack with moulded cap, behind the
pediment. Cross-mullioned windows to vaulted basement. The walls are brick-lined.
