Incorrectly marked on O.S. map as Tremlett Hall. House, now divided. Mid C19,
probably incorporating part of earlier dwelling. Coursed, squared, red
sandstone, Ham stone dressings, moulded plinth, slate roof behind crenellated
parapet, shaped gables with finials, stone stacks. Tudor style. Rain block
facing South and East, earlier service wing to West, stable wing North. South
front: 2 storeys over basement, 3 bays; gabled bay with diagonal buttresses,
projecting slightly forward left, octagonal 3-stage staircase turret right,
10-light mullioned and transomed crenellated splayed bay window ground floor
centre right, 4-light window above left, 8-light mullioned and transomed windows
ground floor left with 6-light corbelled oriel above, all with Tudor arched
heads. Doorway in angle of projecting bay left, approached by curved stairs with
stone parapet. Open loggia in basement left.
