SS 53 NW HEANTON PUNCHARDON EASTACOMBE LANE, Heanton

8/183 Linhay approximately 20 metres
- east of Eastacombe Farmhouse

GV II

Linhay, early to mid C19. Rubble to front and right side, left side in cob.
Corrugated iron roof with continuous outshut to rear in rubble. Cattle shelter
below with tallet over. 3 brick square piers with flanking walls extending in
further from right than from left. Continuous manger along rear wall and tallet
floor in situ but 3 tiers of upper front retaining rails are removed except top
rail in left section. External stone steps at right gable end to tallet doorway
with flat brick arch. Rubble outshut to rear with continuous manger along rear
wall and 2 wide entrances with timber lintels, ventilation slit at end.
Included for group value with Eastacombe Farmhouse.
