Byre possibly late C17/early C18; house probably mid/late C18. Later additions
and alterations including conversion of part of byre. Wet-dashed rubble house;
byre, coursed squared rubble with quoins. Graduated slate roofs; stone-flagged
eaves to byre. 2 storeys (byre lower and set back on right), 6 bays overall.
3-bay house: Central glazed door with 16-pane sash to either side on each floor
and small sash above. Byre has central plank door with window to each floor on
left and vent-slit on right. Segment-headed stair window to rear of house.
House has stone coping and kneelers to north gable; corniced stone end
chimneys. Interior: C18 panelled doors; C18 fireplaces to ground floor front
and rear. Lean-to garage adjoining south return not of interest.
