stable

II

House with adjoining former stable. Probably early C18. Painted rendered clay
walls with brick porch and stable extension; graduated slate roof, C19 brick
chimney stacks. Single storey, 3 bays; former single-bay stable to left under
common roof. Lean-to porch with side door. Sash windows with glazing bars in
painted stone surrounds. Plank door to former stables left, in painted stone
surround; small loft opening above. Small C19 extensions to left and right are
not of interest.
