Farmhouse and barn. Mid- late C18. Coursed squared gritstone, graduated
stone slate roof. 2-storey, 2-bay house with additional 2-bay barn. House:
quoins. Central 4-panel door, surround obscured by porch. Flanking and
first-floor 3-light flat-faced mullion windows, the mullions slightly
recessed. Shaped kneeler and gable coping to left, end stacks. Barn: wide
byre doors left and right in plain surrounds, 3 small square vent or putlog
holes above. Shaped kneeler and gable coping to right. Changes in the
masonry suggest that the barn range was originally single-storey.
