House formerly a farmhouse. Early C17, originally extended further to east
of existing building. C20 extension to west. Timber-framed and plastered,
hipped plain tile roof. Two storeys. L-plan. Hall with wing to right hand
and large internal stack to left hand now exposed. Two side stacks to right
hand. Stop-chamfered and ovolo-moulded primary ceiling beams, exposed
timber-frame and large open hearth. The house is situated to the south of a
moated site R.C.H.M. mon.21.
