Farmhouse and adjoining barns. Mid or late C18 with C19 alterations partly
incorporating C17 house. Painted incised stucco, with V-jointed quoins and
eaves cornice, on chamfered plinth. Graduated greenslate roof with coped gables
and kneelers; stone chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays with lower flanking wings
linking gabled barn to left and gabled right-angled barn/stables to the right.
6-panel door in Tuscan gabled porch. Sash windows in painted architraves, those
on ground floor double. Similar windows in wings. Rear of house has
double-gabled extension. Barn to left has rear ramp to upper cart entrance with
iron-studded double doors. Barn/stables to right has a series of plank doors
facing the farmyard.
