8/162 Lucas Farm House

II*

House of 2 wings. Early and Mid C16. Exposed timber frame. Long wall jetty
and rear jetty to north wing. Jowls to some storey posts. 2 storeys, L-shaped
plan, including C16 enclosed porch. Various leaded casements throughout,
including some original mullions. Plain red tile hipped roofs with gablets.
C20 main door with lights and 2 original doors. 2 original attached square
shaft red brick chimney stacks and one external rectangular chimney stack.
Moated site with fragmentary remains. A building of very good quality.
