II

Cottage with attached outbuilding on left. Probably early C18. Plastered
cob walls. Thatched roof, hipped at left end, half-hipped'at right end. Brick
stack at left end of house part. One storey and attic. C20 brick porch with
slate lean-to roof. Original ledged inner door. Ground floor has 2 casement
windows with glazing bars. Attic has 2 half-dormers with similar casements.
Large buttress at junction with outbuilding. Timber garage doors to outbuilding.
C20 flat-roofed single storey rear extension. Main ground floor room has large
open fireplace with timber lintel and bread oven. One exposed ceiling beam.
Largely unaltered.
