Farmhouse, mid-C19. Coursed rubble walls, tile roof (alternate bands of
plain and shaped tiles) with gable ends. Brick stacks at gables and part
way along ridge. Regency Gothic style with symmetrically disposed fenes-
tration. 2 storeys. 3 bays with further blank bay to right. 3-light,
stone, lancet headed windows except over front door where there is a similar
2-light window. Southern gable rebuilt c1978 when an attached cottage of
the same build was demolished. "RCHM Dorset Vol III", p 98.
